Dr Ciara Crothers

Ciara was born and raised in County Armagh where she developed a love for animals and wildlife from an early age. For as long as she can remember she wanted to work with animals, spending weekends and school holidays at a local veterinary practice and working on a neighbouring dairy farm.

At eighteen she moved to Glasgow to attend Veterinary School and enjoyed five years studying and exploring Scotland. Three days after graduating in June 2014 she started working at Ashby Road Vets and has thoroughly enjoyed her first year in practice with the team at Ashby. She is particularly interested in soft tissue surgery and is getting lots of opportunity to expand her skills.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her Terrier cross Penny, who is known to a lot of clients at our Crowle branch! Ciara also enjoys cooking and catching up with her friends and family.
