Dr Matt Dickinson

Matt was born in Scunthorpe and grew up in BartonOnHumber, doing his A levels at John Leggott College. He qualified as a vet at the University of Bristol, and also completed another degree in virology and immunology, then returned to his hometown.

His favourite clinical interests are internal medicine, and emergency and critical care. He has also developed an interest in the care and rehabilitation of hedgehogs. He is a member of the British Hedgehog Preservation Society and just finished feeding and releasing an autumn juvenile called Lily. He is a huge fan of all terriers, with a particular love for Westies having grown up with a pair of them as a child.

In his spare time he enjoys playing the piano, cooking and eating spicy food, competing in the sport of powerlifting, and trying to improve his terrible French.
